Synopsis

“Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty, is the fifth installment in his Cop Universe series and the third to feature Ajay Devgn as the steadfast supercop, Bajirao Singham. Released on November 1, 2024, the film brings together an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Jackie Shroff. This time, the narrative intertwines with elements from the Ramayana as Singham and his team confront a formidable adversary to rescue his wife, Avni Kamath.

Critics have offered mixed reviews for “Singham Again.” The Times of India rated it 3.5 out of 5 stars, praising its high-octane action sequences and entertainment value while acknowledging some narrative flaws. Similarly, Times Now highlighted the film as an entertaining action flick suitable for the Diwali season, emphasizing the ensemble cast’s performances.  However, The Guardian criticized the movie for its lackluster writing and clichéd action sequences, noting that despite the star-studded cast, it fails to engage with contemporary complexities or deliver noteworthy drama.
